Absolutely Wonderful Read

I finished this book in an hour and a half. I could not put it down. Oh my gosh Samantha, what a absolutely awesome read. Damien is my hero, he really did love Faith more than his own life. I could not believe her dad did that to her, that just blew me away. How could a father be so cruel and unloving!? I am so happy that Cami finally came around, but I understand her point of view like I am sure we all did. I can't wait for Cami & Malc's story to come out now (sitting on pins and needles).
This is Samantha Harrington's debut novel and you need to put this on your to read list if you have not read it. You will not regret it, I promise you that. Faith is kidnapped for a debt her father owes a man named Damien, and he is the ring leader in everything from the kidnapping to becoming Faith's savior. Then her father tells Damien to just kill his daughter to clear his debt..this is a fast paced action filled book from the first page to the very last page, that is why I could not stop reading it. What an awesome book, I loved it. Thank you Samantha for giving us such an awesome book to read.

Freaking Amazing

Obsession is Samantha Harrington's debut novel and Wow! This lady can write! This is one of those books I wish I could rate more than 5 stars as it was worth so much more!
When Faith is kidnapped because of a debt her father owes, Faith had no idea that this would change her life for the worse but also for the better....
Damien is the person who has ordered the kidnapping of Faith to try and get her father to repay his debts, but when Faith's father refuses to pay for his daughters release, Damien must make a decision. With his past flashing in front of him, de decides to let Faith go, but something about her has gotten under his skin and he promises to do all he can to protect her....but Faith doesn't know this. Yet.
After 6 months of being free from her kidnappers, Faith is still very scared and vulnerable. When her scumbag of a father returns, Damien must finally show Faith that he has actually been looking out for her all along. Faith has become obsessed by Damien since she was freed and happy to have him back in life. But when Faith finds out what her father has planned and she is kidnapped again (along with her best friends Cami) by her fathers goons, it's a race against time for Damien to come to their rescue.
Will Damien be able to save Faith & Cami from her father or is there something more sinister behind the whole thing?
Obsession is a dark erotic read which will have you very much gripped from the first page.
Well Done Samantha on such a fantastic book and I am really looking forward to Malc & Cami's story.

A fast paced, action filled story from start to finish!

Obsession is a fast paced, action filled story from start to finish. For me though, maybe things moved just a little too fast. It all seemed to happen over a few days/a week, and there was so much packed into that time frame that maybe it was just a little bit too much.
Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed this book and it had a good storyline, it's just... it felt a little rushed, and because everything was happening so fast there were quite a lot of mistakes in this book. Normally, I don't even mention edit issues in my blog reviews, but they were quite noticeable in this book and I don't feel like I can ignore them.
Obsession was drama, thriller and romance all rolled into one. Story wise, a good start and Samantha Harrington shows some great potential. I personally would just like her to learn that comma's are her friend, not to say I did this, then I did that so much and to get a good editor to go through her books for her, because beta's can miss a lot of things and those little things brought the book down for me.
I'd give Obsession 3.75 stars. I feel 3.5 is too low for it, but with the issues I've mentioned, I just can't rate it a 4 like some of the others I have reviewed lately. Although of course you can't do half stars on here, lol, so I've given a 4 as a 3 is just way too low for such a good story.
I enjoyed Obsession, and am looking forward to seeing what happens with Malc and Cami and to see Samantha Harrington develop into the fantastic author I think she will be, going from her debut novel.
