Elisabeth is a freelance writer and poet, spending much of her free time working in animal rescue and flying transports for Pilots N Paws. She has seen how the lost and thrown-away pets that no one wanted thrive when they were placed in loving homes. Her book is based on her own cat, Frankie, who she adopted from a high-kill shelter at eleven years of age and thirty-five pounds.
This is her first book. Additional Frankie books, her own animals dealing with real-people problems, are currently in the works.
Her hope is that children can associate, through her animals, how much words can hurt. How we are all different, and it is all right!
Elisabeth and her husband, Paul, live in Prattville, Alabama, with three other rescue cats and four rescue dogs. They have five children and five grandchildren."

A new voice to help stop bullying!!

What an amazing book by an amazing author! It is always a joy to be around Elisabeth....she is one of the kindest women you will ever know.
She has a tender heart for all creatures great and small. Her new book really uses animals to tell a story that the youngest children to older "children-at heart" must hear...
Bullying is NOT ok EVER!
If Elisabeth's book could be read to every child under 10 all over the world, I believe that the world would be free of bullies.
If you want to help make a difference in your child's life, buy her book.
And imagine a tomorrow where children could be free to celebrate their differences , not bullied for them!

Elisabeth is a wonderful writer. Everything she writes is straight from her heart with so much love for others. After reading her book it was very apparent that her objective is to teach children to love everyone equally and to never allow the judgement of others to define ones self worth. This book is a must buy for children.

What a wonderful book for everyone to read ! Elisabeth writes with such a sweet southern flair and Frankie is a wonderful cat to write about . This is a must read for children of all ages - Such a heartwarming story . Can't wait to read more from Elisabeth and meet Frankie !
