Very disappointing

I am an anthropology instructor, and I am very disappointed in this book. It was advertised as a new approach to the basic anthropology textbook; supposedly, it relied on "stories" to make the key points and engage the students. Instead, this book has got to be the most boring and uninspiring introduction to anthropology ever published. It is page after page of small print with few photos or illustrations and essentially just the same information that you find in other textbooks. There are no "stories" that I could find.
